• I. The method of removing and replacing the oil filter element of the forklift is as follows:

1、Start the forklift engine, when the engine working temperature reaches the normal temperature, use the jack to jack up the vehicle, and pull up the forklift handbrake and pad the front wheels with wooden wedges.

2、Place the old oil drum under the oil sump of the forklift, and gradually unscrew the open oil bolt from the oil sump. Care needs to be taken not to touch the hot oil and to allow the oil to drip down for as long as possible. Check the forklift oil drain bolt, re-install the oil drain bolt, unscrew the forklift bolt don’t screw too tight to avoid oil sump damage.

3、Move the oil container to the bottom of the oil filter, and use the special oil filter wrench to unscrew the forklift filter element. (It should be noted that the temperature of the filter element should be considered before unscrewing, do not unscrew it with bare hands, make sure to wear gloves). When unscrewing, you should pay attention to not damage the interface screws of the device filter and the spare parts around the filter, and the removed oil filter can not be reused.

4、Refer to the forklift user’s manual to choose the oil filter element that matches with the truck.

5、Use new oil to coat the interface gasket of the new filter element. If the filter element is installed in a straight position, you can pour some new oil into the filter element, which can reduce dry grinding when the engine starts next time. Screw the filter in by hand, and tighten the filter according to the instructions (usually 3/4 turn after tightening the oil filter by hand).

6、The new forklift oil poured into the oil pan, the oil model to refer to the user manual to choose. Use the funnel to pour in to avoid pouring the oil on the outside of the engine. After pouring, check whether there is oil leakage at the bottom of the engine, if not, put down the vehicle to check the oil dipstick, and start the forklift engine, the indicator light on the exterior should be calmed down immediately after starting. Finally, close the engine to repeat the oil volume, and deal with the old oil and oil filter.

• 2. How to change the fuel filter of forklifts? The method is as follows:

1、Clean the outside of the fuel filter, screw down the drain screw at the lower end of the fuel filter and release the dirt.

2、Remove the fuel filter, pour out the fuel and take out the filter.

3、Install the new fuel filter back.

4、After the forklift fuel is put back into the fuel system, the air in the system must be bled out. When releasing the air, loosen the bleeder screw of the forklift fuel filter and pump the fuel with hand pump until the fuel flowing out of the bleeder hole does not contain air bubbles. Then tighten the bleeder screw, and continue to pump fuel with the hand pump until the low-pressure oil circuit is full of fuel.

• 3. Remove and replace the forklift transmission filter as follows:

1、In the replacement of forklift transmission filter before lifting the forklift with a lifter.

2、Remove the oil drain screw on the side of the forklift oil pan (ready to receive oil), and release all the transmission oil.

3、Dismantle the forklift oil pan, wash the oil pan (with carburetor cleaning), replace the new filter, sealing ring, and then install it.

• 4. How to change the forklift hydraulic filters? Methods are as follows:

1、Remove the hydraulic filter return line (low pressure hose) and air hose.

2、Remove the filter sleeve from the base.

3、Remove the hydraulic filter from the conduit connection on the filter sleeve.

4、Replace the hydraulic filter with a new one.

5、Install the hydraulic filter in reverse of the removal process and follow the following: 5.1-6.5 N.m (0.52-0.66 kg, 3.8-4.8 ft-1b) for the retaining nut of the hydraulic filter sleeve.

6、Forklift hydraulic oil spilled on the upper surface of the base must be wiped off.
